Sara Yoffie

A San Francisco native, Sara Yoffie has been dancing and making choreography her entire life.

In May of 2025, she completed her first year in the professional division at The Ailey School in New York.

Sara has studied with San Francisco Ballet, Pascale Leroy, Academy of Ballet and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. She’s also completed intensives with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, LINES Ballet and The Ailey School. 

Sara is a graduate of the Conservatory Dance Program at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. At SOTA she choreographed, staged and danced in too many pieces to list here. The two biggest were The Rise and This Is A Dangerous Place, each featuring more than a dozen dancers.

At SOTA, Sara received the Yvonne McClung Choreography Award. In her senior year, she received the Trustee’s Merit Scholarship for Creative Leadership from University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
